Emily L Snelling

Author Emily Snelling is a clinical herbalist who began studying herbal medicine in childhood and later received formal education at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and the East-West School of Herbology. She practices at Integral Herbalism in the North Lake Tahoe area.

Prior to pursuing a career in natural health, Emily studied comparative literature and mythology at San Francisco State University and worked for nonprofit organizations in fund development, marketing, and executive management. She currently resides with her husband, daughter, and three fur children. Her interests include reading, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, and social investing.
